Questions about human enhancement

This week, in my SOCS class, I watched some videos and read some article about human enhancement.

This topic just makes me question the disabled facilities and technology in China. Because in China, there is rarely disabled people on the street. Compare to Canada or even other western countries, disables are normal in the public. They are able to access to the transit, shopping and such on. In China, not many cities set up the disabled parking spots, wheelchair washroom, slope etc. The reason is not only because of the lack of attention to disabled people from the government, but also the bias from all aspects.

Also, by enhancing human function, it would break the regulation or the boundary of the social recognization. It then makes me currious about how would the meaning of Guinness Record changes. Some records were used to be limited in the human zone, however, the technology has surpassed the human self-limit. For example, a sprinter, who is running with prosthetic legs faster than most people in the world. There would be no end for the real records.
