How Satellite Internet Works/Satellite Internet Technology
Satellite Internet is an Internet service center that operates using VSAT or telecommunication satellites acting as a liaison between Users / Clients and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). This internet network does not use cable as a (wireless) link, like internet service in general. so we can use satellite internet, we have to subscribe to satellite internet service.each customer must have a VSAT antenna to connect to a central operator antenna or also called a satellite internet ISP. there must also be other VSAT devices in order for the satellite internet system to work properly. these devices are generally sold and leased by ISP satellite internet.This VSAT antenna must be installed / connected to the ISP network, they are connecting to the internet. we have to pay monthly subscription fees to the ISP so they can confirm the bandwidth of the internet connection with ours.
So that we can understand how the satellite internet works, we must understand some things first, so we know how it works and what the advantages and disadvantages of VSAT. The figure below shows the general scheme of VSAT satellite internet telecommunication.

Uplink is sending signal from earth station (VSAT or HUB) to satellite.
Downlink is sending signals from satellites to earth stations.

REQUEST DATA : when we just finished installing satellite internet in our homes, we will try google.kemudian connect then we will type google.com in search box then press Enter / Return. This means you are requesting the google server to provide the data dan itu disebut request data.
SEND SIGNALS TO SATELLITES. when we request the data, the request is then converted into a radio frequency signal, which converts it is a modem and transmitted through our VSAT antenna to the satellite, This is called uplink.
PARTICULAR SIGNALS SATELLITE. The satellite then receives the signal and sends the signal back to us, to where our ISP's HUB antenna is. then this is called Donwlink. The satellite function as the signal successor, from our VSAT antenna to the Internet operator's HUB center,
