HTC VIVE PRO ANNOUNCED
Recently we got the awesome news that a Vive Pro is just on the horizon, and to be released 2018! Yes we are getting the Vive Pro THIS YEAR! There is no exact date for when it drops but we have been told it is somewhere in the first quarter of 2018. This means it could be incredible soon.
Whats make the pro over the normal Vive?
Well immediately from the picture you can see it contain 2 front cameras instead of the 1 of the standard Vive most likely for better tracking of the surroundings.
The main major difference between this and the standard Vive is the amazing new screens! It has a new 2880 x 1600 resolution in comparison to the standard Vive resolution of 2,160 x 1,200. It still has the same refresh rate of 90HZ, which means the minimum specs to run games on this will be higher than of the normal Vive.
Another thing which is a very positive change is that it is lighter and less clunky than its predecessor, a lot of people complained about the Vive being heavy and clunky and HTC took the feedback and did a good. On top of the Vive pro, there is also a wireless adapter coming to support both the Vive and the Vive Pro! THAT MEANS NO WIRES TO INTERRUPT YOUR GAMING EXPERIENCE!
With big screen upgrades and reducing weight also comes a whole new controller experience. This are the new controller for the Pro that have been shown on twitter.

I can't wait for the Vive Pro to drop, I also can't wait for HTC to release more details about it. Such as what specs you need to run games on this resolution. The wireless feature is mind boggling to think about as they claim for it to have no noticeable latency. I am really curious about the batter life and how well it keeps to that promise.
