How does my Oppo Find 7 look and feel after 2 years of usage

in #technology7 years ago (edited)

Oh my god... How much shit I got from my parents and from my friends for buying this phone...

"Why the the fuck don't you buy a serious brand? Like fucking Samsung, or LG or whatever. Don't buy that Chinese shit..." my friends used to say...

"I'd better use my old 1100 than spending that much money on a Chinese piece of plastic..." my dad used to say...

When I first heard of this phone, I fell in love with that damn blue light. After seeing the 2k screen, the removable battery and the microSD slot with a max of 128gb and 32gb internal memory, and the 3gb of ram, the first thing I thought was "THIS IS THE PERFECT PHONE FOR ME!". The storage was one of the strongest selling points for me because I like to have all my music stored for offline listening sessions.

2 years later (the pictures were taken with an LG  G Pad 8.3 V500)

Look at this thing! I've dropped it on the screen 3 times from a medium distance on hard surfaces and numerous times on the back and on the sides. It has some small deformations on the sides but barely visible. I am telling you this was (and still is ) on of the most durable phone I ever had. I still have no plans to change it since it serves me well... The battery is also strong enough for me.

Inside, besides some inevitable dust, it's still looks like before. My dad wanted to buy it from me at some point lol.

Moral of the story: If it fits you, don't look at the brand.
