Samsung Unveils Galaxy Fold, It's First Foldable Phone
It seems like Samsung is really stepping up its game when it comes to innovation. For the longest time, I had believed that Apple was the one innovating and shaping new industries, it seems like Samsung has taken over that mantle for quite some time now. Although Apple still innovates, it just doesn't feel the same under Tim Cook as it was under Steve Jobs.
Anyways, Samsung has been leading the way recently and it shows in their products. At an event yesterday, they released their flagship phone, the Galaxy S10, and while others are still stuck on the notch, Samsung has already gotten rid of it, by literally punching holes in their display to allow for front cameras.
The phone is packed with tons of other cool features as well, such as a triple lens camera, Wireless PowerShare, in-screen fingerprint display and the crypto storage technology that I wrote about yesterday in this post.
If all that was not enough, Samsung also released their much anticipated and rumoured foldable phone which they are calling, the Galaxy Fold. I had personally thought that this tech was still years away, but it's already here!
Innovation At Its Peak
While Samsung is not the one creating this category or inventing the foldable phone, up till now, there have been mere concepts or foldable phones that are just not designed for the consumers of today.
That is where Samsung has come out on top. It has made a foldable phone that is functional, well designed and something that a lot of folks would buy which would then only help Samsung refine the tech further and make it better overall.
The Galaxy Fold comes with two displays. A primary one (the normal one) that is a 4.6 inch Super AMOLED display and a foldable one that is a 7.3 inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display. Suffice it to say, the displays look stunning. Also, you can run 3 apps at the same time on the foldable screen.
But the foldable screen is not the enticing feature of the phone. It comes with stereo speakers, fingerprint scanner, two batteries totalling 4380mAh of power, support for wireless charing and Wireless PowerShare, 7-nm high end processor, 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of internal storage and a total of 6 cameras!
The Galaxy Fold comes with a price of $1980, but that is expected of a new category and especially considering you get two devices in one. I am sure with future iterations, Samsung will slash the prices and make it affordable for the average user.

@sauravrungta, In my opinion, this is competitive world and when one company will step up then definitely it's good for the users because there is great possibility where very improved and expanded Technological Tools and Gadgets by other development companies. Stay blessed.
