They're another kind of wearable tech that serve as low vision aids for those who suffer from blindness/visual impairment/reading disabilities/etc.--it's important to create wearables that help those in need, rather than just those for fun or fitness. Essentially, they're ocr glasses that use AI to help those who cannot see on their own read, recognize faces and more. I think it's important to have options for those who need wearable tech to enhance their everyday lives, and I think this industry will only continue to grow as the demand for it is around.
