The car manufacturer Ford has summed up the pilot project on the use of self-controlled cars in real life, writes MIT Technology Review. In the summer of 2017, drones simulators delivered food to random Domino's Pizza customers in the US: to pick up pizza, people had to enter a four-digit code on the car's panel.

As it turned out, most buyers thanked the car for delivering food. "Probably, we should add communication with customers in this part, it's cool. It's human."

- said executive vice president of Ford Jim Farley.

The company also found out that it is more comfortable for users to use the last digits of their phone number as a verification code, rather than a bank card.

The collected data should help Ford create a fully automatic machine for delivering food and things. During the project with Domino's Pizza in the test car, the driver was sitting, and the delivery process was filmed by the operator who was driving in the car behind.

so when robots replace human jobs may be it is profitable for big companies but it can create unemployment for many
