Transcend USB 3.0 Card Reader

This is another one of those useful gadgets I have that isn't used often but when you do it is extremely handy.

This is a USB 3 stick that allows you to put SD and Micro SD cards into it to directly allow you to transfer files and images to a PC. It supports most SD cards (unfortunately not Compact Flash) so you only need one device to transfer files.

While the device has USB 3.0 and can go just shy of 90MB/s, most SD cards won't manage anywhere near this speed, but you will get better performance with a USB 3 reader than most card readers or directly connected to your camera.

I use this device a lot for pulling pictures off my point and click camera.
