Best upcoming phones in 2018
Hello guys @perkyyoung here, today my mind just reflected on all the top phones we have been using since mobile phone imaged and the ones we used in 2017, then I started to appreciate the rate at which technology has improved in the world today.
There will still be many improvements in many mobile phones this year.
So If your thinking of upgrading your phone, here is a few of upcoming phones in 2018.
● Samsung Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+
The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be the biggest and baddest of the phones announced in 2018, continuing to perfect what have so far
shaped up to be the best phones of 2017.
New in both models is likely to be the 7nm Snapdragon 845 or 8nm
Exynos 9810 processor, with a dual-lens rear camera on the Plus, and
fingerprint scanners embedded into the Infinity display.
Performance will definitely get a boost, and we might see Samsung
finally go above the 4GB of RAM seen in the company's previous
flagships. The design is not likely to change significantly, and
hopefully neither will the price.
●Google Pixel 3
Three new Google Pixel phones are expected to land on 4 October
2018, with one of them potentially poised as a rival to the iPhone X.
Codenamed Crosshatch, Albacore and Blueline, we know that these
new pure Android phones will run the to-be-announced Android 9.0 P,
and that they will likely carry the 7nm Snapdragon 845 processor and
feature 18:9 pOLED panels.
●Huawei P11
Tipped for February's MWC tradeshow, the P11 will be successor to
the company's current flagship, the P10.
In common with the Mate 10 it will likely get the Kirin 970 chip, which
Huawei claims delivers 25 times better CPU performance and 50 times
greater energy efficiency.
Very little is known about the P11, but rumours suggest it could copy
sister company Honor's latest flagship and ditch the 3.5mm
headphone jack.
●Nokia 9
The first Nokia Android phone was announced a year ago, with its
successor (the Nokia 6 2018) due this Friday. But we're still waiting
for an announcement on the Nokia 9, which is the flagship in the
company's line-up. Rumour has it the big reveal could be coming on
19 January.
The Nokia 9 was thought to be an upgraded version of the Nokia 8
with a larger 5.7in 18:9 display and an extra 2GB of RAM, but the
latest leaked images show a standard 16:9 display.
We should see a dual-camera - potentially 13Mp with separate RGB
and monochrome sensors. A 13Mp selfie camera may also be found at
the front. This is the setup seen in the Nokia 8, which also boasts
Bothie photos - snaps that combine images from the front- and rear
cameras to create a fuller picture.
Also new in the Nokia 8 is 360-degree Ozo audio recording, which
we're sure will also make its way to the Nokia 9.
The Nokia 9 is thought to be the flagship in Nokia's Android phone
family, and as such will likely run the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon
835 with Adreno 540 GPU, plus 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
●Sony Xperia XZ2
Sony churns phones more often than we have hot meals. Having
announced the Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact and XA1, new rumours then
appeared suggesting that Sony wants to change its smartphone
design. That's big news, because we've essentially had the same
OmniBalance design in Sony Xperia phones since the Xperia Z.
Now there's talk of what we're calling the Xperia XZ2. A render
appeared that shows no bezel, as well as a spec sheet that details a
5.48-inch display with Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 845 and twin
rear 12-megapixel cameras, with a 15-megapixel camera on the front.
With a range of devices leaking it's a little sketchy at the moment, but
Sony Mobile does like to launch at Mobile World Congress, so
perhaps a late-February launch.
●Samsung Galaxy Note 9
The Note 8 has barely gone on sale, but Samsung is already talking
about the Note 9. In an interview, the development team confirmed
that they'd moved straight into planning for the next Note model,
including working on enhancing notable features, like the S Pen.
So there's no firm details at the moment, but we'd expect Samsung
to be unveiling the Galaxy Note 9 in late August 2018, with more
enhanced S Pen features.
●LG G7
It's thought that the firm will release the LG G7 as early as January
2018 pegging the launch at CES 2018. This would give it a head start
against major rivals such as the Galaxy S9.
Another rumour suggests that LG is already wroking with Qualcomm
and the G7 will be the first with its new Snapdragon 845 processor.
Good to know since will be looking for one anyway :)
Yea.. Many of us will definitely want to upgrade there phones this time around.
Definitely, we will be looking for them
@perkyyoung
