A new religion founded by former Google Engineer is developing an AI god
Well, it sounds creepy but it is true and for sure it will give people like Elon Must a heart attack.
Anthony Levandowski- a former Google engineer has founded a religious organization called Way of the future that attempts to "grow and foster the awareness of a Godhead predicated on Artificial Intelligence."
Previously, Anthony Levandowski co-founded self-driving trucking company Otto, which Uber acquired for $680 million in 2016. However, he was fired due to the allegations that he stole the trade secrets from former employer Google .

What a crazy world we live in. I still kind of think all of this fear of Skynet killing humanity is just a marketing ploy for artificial intelligence based technology, which has become one of the buzzwords in the tech world now.
Every time I try to talk to Siri or Google Assistant to make them do a simple task, I'm reminded just how far we still are from even just creating artificial stupidity, much less intelligence. Then again, it's not my field of expertise so what do I know :)
Alright that is kind off creepy...in this new religion, are they putting the development and advances of AI first?
