Linux Mint
Linux Mint es un sistema operativo de código abierto basado en las distribuciones de Linux: Debian y Ubuntu. Su primer lanzamiento data del año 2006. La finalidad de este proyecto es la de ofrecer al usuario final un sistema estable, poderoso y fácil de usar. Su diseño es elegante y moderno, muy previsible para aquellas personas habituadas a Windows. La última versión es Linux Mint 18.3 “Sylvia” y cuenta con soporte hasta el año 2021, sin embargo, Linux Mint 19 “Tara” estará disponible en junio de 2018 y contará con actualizaciones críticas de seguridad hasta el año 2023. Se espera que esta nueva versión tenga mayor éxito que Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, otra de las variantes de Linux más populares.
Siempre he querido usar Linux, pero por una u otra cosa no me decido.
