Urgent! Update your iOS devices to the latest software!

In the past few weeks, a bug was reported to be present among processors powered by Intel’s architecture technology! Many tech giants including Apple are using these chipsets in their systems. The bug makes protected user information vulnerable to security threats and hacking attempts. Intel’s tech engineers are currently working to figure out a proper fix for this vulnerability.

On the other hand, Apple seems to have fixed this bug in its devices including iPads, Macs, and iPhones. According to a recent announcement, Apple staff has advised its users to update their OS to the latest version available. They claim to have fixed the vulnerability bug in ARM and Intel processors being used in their devices. The users will be protected from any security attack, if they are using latest version of iOS software on their devices.

The official announcement by Apple on Thursday states that the two newly discovered flaws, namely Meltdown and Spectre were recently affecting the vulnerability of their chipsets. One of their spokesperson also claimed that these bugs are not much harmful till now,

“There are no known exploits impacting customers at this time.”

It was also being said that it’s very difficult for hackers to exploit the security bugs. Macs and other iOS supporting devices are only vulnerable, if some sort of malicious applications are loaded in them. Otherwise it’s almost impossible to get access to the core kernel memory of the chipsets.

The latest iOS update issued back in December, 2017 has already fixed the vulnerability. So it is highly recommended to update your software, if you haven’t already done so! Users are also advised to download software applications from trusted sources only. They must stick to the App Store applications to avoid any sort of malware infection in their systems.
