What is programming?

Programming is that process in which the source code of a specific computer program is designed, maintained, codified or refined. The main objective of programming is the creation of programs that exhibit the behavior desired by the programmer.

What are programming languages?

Are those languages ​​in code designed for the computer to carry out certain processes previously programmed by the user. There are a lot of these languages ​​but the best known are: Java, HTML, Python, C ++, PHP and JavaScript.

Java

This language is well known because of its simplicity and how friendly it can be with beginners in the field. It is one of the most used programming languages: more than 9 million developers use it and it is present in 7 billion devices around the world.

JavaScript

This language is used to create effects and perform interactive and dynamic actions with the user. It is present in many web pages and messaging services.

JavaScript is not Java

They are completely different languages, JavaScript is a language used to create programs that fit into larger ones or web pages.

HTML

It is the language used for the creation of web pages within the internet. Its acronym means HyperText Markup Language. It is widely used and is very simple and friendly for people who are just learning to program.

Python

One of my favorites is the language par excellence for beginners due to its similarity to the English language. It is a multiplatform language that supports object orientation and is highly dynamic.

C ++

It is an extension of the programming language C. Its main novelty is the possibility of manipulating objects and is considered a hybrid language.

PHP

Initially, this was not intended as a programming language but as a set of tools to maintain a website. It is known for its simplicity and can be embedded in the HTML programming language.

One we all know: Markdown

It is a language that seeks to achieve great readability with great ease using plain text. It is very popular in Steemit because it is used in the vast majority of posts that are uploaded to the platform.

In conclusion, programming languages ​​are tools that help us perfect our work through a computer and, in some cases, to create them. Undoubtedly, these are part of a very interesting topic such as programming in general, which over the years, has contributed to the creation of multiple websites and programs that we use daily.
