In this collaborative design canvas we invite the public and collaborators to insert their suggested edits and comments. The issue that has kept Sustainy and and many social change orgs from succeeding is lack of cooperative organizing platforms and systems to empower them to govern and organize themselves in a ~horizontal ~holocracy way. We are going to change that with the "Cooptocracy Platform". I invite you to collaborate and participate in its incubation, birth, and development.

Societal Diagnosis: Plutocracy; disproportionate pathological control by the massively wealthy. Hyper-centralization, hyper-concentrations of power.

Symptoms: concentrations of power lead to corruptions and extreme inefficiencies.

Treatment: Decentralization, distributism, solidarity platform cooperativism, ~Cooptocracy. The dialectic [thesis, anti-thesis] is of individualism and collectivism, competition and collaboration. Cooptocracy is the syn-thesis of all forms of governments [socialism, distributism, meritocracy, plutocracy].

The Problem: Plutocracy

Plutocracy is a form of government where the majority of political and economic power belongs to a minority of wealthy elites. The concentration of wealth and power into the hands of a few people has created a multitude of *problems [culminating in massive unnecessary material and spiritual poverty, massive ecosystem destruction, extremification of weather, and perpetual war].

Let’s examine why these problems are happening, the fundamental causes, and explore solutions.

The solution: The Cooptocracy Platform

I am working on building a model for a platform to help form an alternative organizational and governmental form called Cooptocracy. It can be used to own and govern a new kind of cooperative and massively collaborative organization. This kind of cooperative has the potential and intention to provide all products and services usually provided by traditional governments, "for-profit" and “not-for-profit” corporations, and public benefit organizations. It will generate material and societal wealth in a more ethical, efficient, and sustainable style.

I have outlined a proposed model for the collective decision making system for these organizations.

I propose an advanced system of organic delegation, where everyone gets a *fair proportion of the decision power. Each decision must have X proportion of consensus.

Proportions of the will of the group. The will of the group is decided through a hybrid government system that aggregates the beliefs, perspectives, and preferences of the many.

The platform allows a hybrid customizable form of government:

Distributism based government (NOTE: * = Wiki-data object in brackets, [x] is defined collectively based on a sort of consensus.)*[25%] stake:

say 25% of voting points goes to every stakeholder. Every living being on the planet can be represented here equally.

Meritocracy based government *[25%] stake:

25% is earned by achieving and proving certain competencies for certain kinds of decisions. Credentials are achieved with swarm consensus.

Capitalism based government *`[50%] :

50% is distributed in direct proportion to what energy and resources a person has invested into the organization.

`[Individuals are limited to *[3%] stake, and *[5%] for families.]

Example

There are one trillion decision points for each decision,

250 billion would be distributed equally to all stakeholders. Each person has the option to distribute those points to representatives for each category of decisions, probably could be done with a 15-minute minimum questionnaire, where they could be matched like a dating website matches people in relationships. I can see the same model being used to match lovers to match people to representatives, look at ok cupid, there are a limitless amount of questions you can answer to increase matching accuracy.

The another 250 billion could be distributed based on reputation and competency tests and some kinds of credentials. Or these points could be distributed based on many hybrid kinds of governance principles.

The remaining 500 billion would be distributed in direct proportion to what each person has invested to the organization.

It is a holistic perspective organizational model that integrates all philosophies of governance as the holistic perspective is a synthesis of all perspectives.

How is voting done?

People can have a personalized bot auto generated based on data that is mined from their computer use. This bot offers users the opportunity to delegate their voting power to the personalized bot and/or to someone that they think can represent them on any particular kind of decision.

- This token will facilitate value exchange of an actual tangible value, such as a portion of a solar panel, so 1 token might be worth 1% of a solar panel. The system designs are a bit raw but this project is necessary to support the cooptocracy platform.
