This dynamic has been going on for a very long time. It is not something new. Perhaps the details of the technology are different. It has its roots in the dichotomy of rationality and spirituality. Or objective reality and subjective reality. Tipping too much either way causes an unhealthy imbalance. Our very brains are constructed with this dichotomy built in. Left brain.. Right brain..
