3D Printing and What the Future Has in Store for Us!

3D printing is going big and is going home! Today, at this very moment, there are homes being built with giant 3D printers, no joke! And in the next 10 years, 3D printers in our homes will be as common as the desktop printer. MIT recently posted this video showing a house built in 14 hours!

A company called Swarmbot is developing a printing system that runs 24/7 and is designed to produce large structures like buildings.   Trash will be able to transformed in to materials that will be able to be used for a variety of purposes. This material will feed the 3D printers and really brings the idea of recycling to a whole new level. 

For fashion, beauty and health, 3D printing may really deliver amazing offerings. 3D make-up will make its debut and people will just insert a picture of their face and the printer will produce the exact application and pattern requested! And teeth, well they will soon be replaced using a printer inside the mouth! And expectant mothers, well they will be able to print models of their unborn baby at various stages of development. And perhaps the coolest thing is that clothes will radically change with increased durability, with temperature control and even the opportunity to walk in to a store and print clothes and shoes to your specifications!
