This article will be highlighting three great chipsets, and how different these chipsets are from each other.
Android phone users in recent times are fun of purchasing mobile devices without even knowing the chip set that is running their devices.
I’ll start by explain them in details

  • (1) The first on the list is the Taiwnaese Company processor

    Mediatek: This chip set uses more cores in its processor make-up (I.e. cores like Octa core, Hexa cores, Deca core, etc.)

Mediatek Processor Performance


In terms of performance the mediatek Processors are very good and can handle heavy and intensive task. They are very good at multi-tasking, and the more the cores the more the Ram to offer best performance.

Mediatek Processor Battery Life/Device Heating


This chip set is known to drain more power and as a result are less in battery life. In terms of heating all processor deliver a measurable amount of heat while performing tasks. Mediatek Processor produces more heat. That is the more the cores the more the amount of heat produced.

Mediatek Graphics


The mediatek supports mail graphics which is a third party graphics vendor. That is the graphics architecture is different from the CPU architecture and its performance may not match with the CPU. It’s truly important to match the ship set performance of efficiency with the performance of CPU and GPU.

  • (2) The second on the list is the Qualcomm American company product called Snapdragon

    Snapdragon:

    This chipsets incorporate many other processors in their chipset. This is one of the many differences between the Snapdragon and the other chipsets.
    The Snapdragon Chipsets are called SoC’s which means system on chip. That is the Snapdragon chipsets have CPU, GPU, Image processor, Media processor, Digital Signal Processor, Cellular Mordem, Wifi Module, and many more. This modules and processors are all inside the Snapdragon chip making the chipset very costly.

    Snapdragon Processor Battery Life/Device Heating


    This chipsets are best in terms of battery life efficiency compared to all other chipsets. They generally deliver less heating as compared to Mediatek and all others but except the Snapdragon chipset 810 which has heating issues.

Snapdragon Graphics


The Snapdragon processor manufacturers own the Adreno Graphic that is incorporated into their chips making the performance of the CPU and GPU well matched.

Snapdragon Processor Performance


They could handle various tasks as they could multi-task, good in gaming, and could handle heavy and intensive task with great efficiency.

  • (3). The third chipset is the Intel Atom: most people are familiar with the Intel chipsets because of its dominance in the PC world.

Intel Atom Processor Battery Life/Device Heating


The Intel Atom Processor’s problem is it battery life. They had the major problem of optimizing their processors to work on less power. With the introduction of the Core M-processor for tablets and smartphones, the Intel Atom processor consumes less power and is very efficient.

Intel Atom Processor Graphics


The Intel processors use its own graphics called the Intel Iris Graphics which brought about the 4th generations core (i-series) and also uses the VGR and Mali graphics both third party graphics vendors in their CPU’s
