I recently installed the Linux Distro Elementary alongside windows.I was blown away at how fast and elegant looking it was.This Distro is still quite new but have already changed my mind about Linux.In the past i was always skeptical and afraid to try this.
What I like about Elementary OS is how minimal it is.At first when you install you will think there is not a lot going on and you are right there is not, but that is the beauty of this Distro.You add what you need and are not bombarded witj many apps that you will never use.
So if you are thinking of trying Linux go for Elementary OS.
