[WORK] #04 Mercedes Actros. Without star there is no drive????

At first little explain. Without star there is no driver - this is polish phrase about Mercedes. It is popular because Mercedes is exclusive car in Poland and it rhymes.

Today something about fleet. As I spoke earlier we have only Mercedeses Actros. The oldest has about 3,5 year.

It seems that they are in the best condition. Nope. None of these things... After two years of work I can say that Mercedes is only very good brand. Nothing more. I don't have experience with other trucks like MAN or Scania but for me Mercedes is one of the first in failure ranks.

I can understand that are production defects or sometimes some faulty of mechanical part as in one of our trucks. 800km from car showroom to trailer factory, 30km to loading place and end of driving. All injections to change. OK factory defect because for 850 km even bad fuel can not brake injections. Shit happens.

I will never understand that in 90% of all our trucks band of intercooler burst. It isn't one mistake. Are you asking about service action? Yes, 1,5 year after problems. And what are they saying in service? Out of bands...
All trucks with problems at highway.
Next. All trucks has problems with gear switch. Computer going crazy, and change gears oneself without any sense.

It isn't even one part of trucks. We are buing this trucks during two years.
Next. Grinding one side of tires with well alligned convergence, brakdown of parking heater, air conditioning, fridges and batteries which are demand change after one year. Bad, very bad.

Still after all that breakdowns Mercedes Actros is one of the trucks with the best value after few years. Brand magic ;)

In other way that is all about today. Trucks or cars has short shelf life.
Finally we are making money mostly at carriage of new trucks and car parts.

For a curiosity in our company one truck making about from 2500-4000km in one week.
The oldest approaching to half milion traveled kilometers. Not bad :)
