Now that's an outstanding achievement trending all around the tech world. So after unveiling the semi autonomous trucks which still has the world talking about, he decided to fulfil his promise to the people of South Australia by solving their power problem and so did he.
In less than 100 days the 100MW battery project was completed. The Tesla powepacka have been installed and connected at Neoen's Hornsdale windfarm, North of Adelaide and the battery tests will be carried out to ensure it meets the local regulatory requirements before it starts operations fully on December 1st.
The battery farm stores a huge amount of energy feom renewable sources like wind and solar. This is really a good news for the people of South Australia who suffered a total blackout last September and it led to a national debate and outrage.
