Microsoft issues statement explaining how their new console (Xbox one X) will run better on 1080p screens.

The new Xbox one X most famous feature is the 4K and HDR gaming capability, but the problem is that there are thousand's of Xbox players who do not have a 4K screen to take advantage of this feature. Microsoft has released a statement which explains how the existing games on Xbox will be better on Xbox one X even when they are run on a 1080p screen.

Microsoft has told that there is going to be a Xbox one X Enhanced Program, this basically means that the games which are released with the 'Enhanced' tag are going to be optimized for the new console.The Enhanced tag will not mean that the games are 4K or HDR as they will have separate tags for that, what Enhanced means is that the games will run better on a 1080p screen as compared to the same game which does not have this tag.

This is possible because Microsoft is letting developers use 'supersampling' which means that they will be able to get a 4K image to run on a 1080p screen by scaling it down which will help to increase texture quality on the 1080p screen.

At the end of the day it is up to the developers on how they are going to utilize the Xbox one X hardware on the new games. However Microsoft has also claimed that the old titles will run better on the new console regardless. All the exclusives are expected to be using the 4K and HDR feature but we still need to wait and see. Preorders have being opened for the Xbox one X and the Xbox one X can also be bought from November 7th onwards with 1TB storage.
