Google Android- Why the OS released in alphabetical order & with desert name ????

Google Android operating systems released in alphabetical order and with sweet name like
Alpha (Angle cake), Beta(Battenberg), Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat and The latest OS update is Oreo.

There are some other reasons you will find:

The brains behind the Android Andy Rubin and he was fond of the Desserts so it was named accordingly.

There are billions of smartphones and tablets users. Since these devices make our lives so sweet so it was named accordingly.

But whatever the reason is yes these names are quite interesting and making our life sweet.
