I have never read this anywere
neither have I seen it any were.
this inspiration came in whilist charging my phone and there was disruption in electricity... I needed to really charge my phone because I needed to use it for an important online transaction.

I use Gionee M5 marathon phone which is powerbank on its own. hardly can you see a powerbank that charged this phone. if you get its very slow even worse it drains your battery rather than give you any.

back to my story. so when the light went of I hoped and prayed for my phone to keep charging at least get it to 10% so I can use it.... but how was that possible??? and then I THOUGHT this could actually be possible if only my charger could be charged while charging my phone.
how do I mean???

you know you can charge your phone through your powerbank even while charging your powerbank.. 2nd hand charging. but that is not encouraged because it could kill your phone battery slowly.

what am saying is if you could charge both your phone and your charger firsthand then our phones are safe.
If your charger is able to retain power and at the same time charge your phone
all you need do when electricity is off is simply to switch to retained charge and continue charging your phone. Atleast one extra hour or even more before power totally goes of...
the likes of us would be saved in terms of working with our phones when electricity goes off.

This image below is that of a rechargeable touchlight. My main focus is on the switch

Due to the fact that this touchlight has two seperate lights it has this control switch were by while in d middle both lights are off and you can charge

Now when you push down the button the 1st light comes up

When you push up the light the other light comes up

Now relating it to our charger. The picture below shows my charger plus the switch.

Say this charger is built with this switch whereby if it is left in the middle the charger is charging... If you plug your cord to your phone it is still charging firsthand ie you normal charging..
Now assuming

1. there is light and both your phone and
   charger is down:
   You can put the switch in the middle. Charge both your phone and your charger firsthand
2. there is no light but you have previously charged your charger:
   Simply shift your switch to the right and use d stored power (THE BEST PART).
3. there is light but your charger's power is filled:
   You can switch to the left and charge only your phone.
