I bought a HP color laser printer a year ago. It is good, but a bit sensitive about quality of paper. I used to use any type of paper on my ink jet, but not so much here. Thanks @creatr
Brother has apparently discontinued this particular printer, but the cartridges must be somewhat universal, fitting many different models.
My main issue with this particular Brother is that the paper feed guide for manual feeding doesn't stay fixed in place. I could probably devise a way to clamp it, but instead I just keep "tweaking" the position as I use it; so it isn't a really big deal.
Cost per copy, however, IS a big deal, and that's why I was delighted to find these replacement toner cartridges...
