Everyone on the internet has used a torrent before. Well they can actually be used as a decentralized forum. This is possible through the comment aspect of each torrent. I barely noticed it, but the idea came to me that it is like bitcoin, with each torrent holding the information included with downloadable content. I think torrents could be used much more than their current use. In a sense it is a decentralized youtube-like platform, it is only that I do not know of any torrents with videos similar to youtube. Perhaps we simply just never thought about that brilliant idea!
