On a transactional level, I can see the advantages of Blockchain but I'm not convinced about the 'buying trends' element. I was under the impression one of the features of Blockchain was the ability to interrogate it? Also, Customer profiling is a huge business and is now an integral part of the whole consumer market so I doubt many companies will adopt it on the basis that that information will no longer be available but they would adopt it for heightened transaction security.
