Computer Laptop Repair 5 - Axioo 10" Not Detecting USB Devices
The case of axioo laptop that I handle is not working usb port. All usb devices connected to the port are not detected by the computer system. After checking the drivers on the system, there is no problem. The sy
stem still detects the drivers well.
I tried to boot the system from usb, it failed too.
Finally I decided to check on the motherboard. Apparently it is true, on the usb port there is not enough voltage to turn on the device that is plugged in the port. The voltage should be 5v. While the voltage is present only 1.35v.
After checking, the problem is a USB voltage regulator. At the input pin, 5v voltage is present, the output pin output voltage is only 1.35v. This IC should be replaced with a new one. But because of the time and minimize the cost of repair, I finally decided to do a jumper pin. It works.
After the jumper, the output pin already produces a 5v voltage. And usb boot process was successful.
