My experience with free software

With the arrival of the Android Smartphone's was that I knew the concept of Linux, this caused me curiosity because I have always had Windows installed on my computer and did not know something different, but googling that Linux is a big universe, just think that there are more than a hundred operating systems that work with its core is something that made me very clear why Android is supported under this same kernel and not with Windows, even Windows and iOS have Linux kernel. Both were in the need to work with the core given its robustness and lightness.

I can say that after knowing this I decided to have a distro on my own computer, the detail was to know which was the best fit and also the easiest to install. Investigating a bit, I said that the most pleasant versions for migration from Windows were the African Distro Ubuntu and its modified Linux Mind version. I had to read a lot about it because I realized that this literally WAS NOT WINDOWS because it did not have any relationship, although there was such a compatibility that could have both systems working perfectly on my computer (which seemed great).

The installation seemed simple to me, through some programs I could pass the version of Linux Mind that I downloaded from the official page (because it seemed more appropriate for me) to my USB memory. The part of the white letters and black background I did not like much but fortunately there was only one step so that then the installation proceeded without problems. I found the installation wizard very pleasant and in a few steps almost without realizing it, I already had my dual system with Linux and Windows.

I do not lie to them, the idea from the beginning seemed somewhat cumbersome, but now I realize that it is a very versatile, modern, powerful and FREE system. I found it completely strange that I did not have to install antivirus, licences or optimizers, something ready to use and with the best features.

Now I just do not want to stop using it and I advise you to try to migrate too, it works perfect for me to do homework and surf the internet. I do not have the problem with viruses and everything is more organized.

I'm so happy for have Linux installed on my computer, should intall too....
Other thing, my computer has 1,6Ghz Intel core processor, 2Gb DDR-RAM and 320Gb HDD. The system run very good!
