Is 'Virtual Reality' Technology for Games Going to End?
It may be that the future prospects of virtual reality technology, which lost its popularity and success during the day, may have been endangered.
Although various studies have been carried out in previous periods, the virtual reality technology, which attracted the whole world with the announcement of Oculus Rift and which was inspired by the idea of 'to feel in what it watches or plays', can not solve both existing problems after the last years, even if it is not cheaper, it can raft for the near future.
Projects for mobile, such as Samsung Gear VR and Oculus GO, can still be preferred for both inexpensive solutions and everyday use. On the other hand, high-end models such as the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, which are basically made for gaming, are not yet cheaper. Besides, the factors that are expected to be a problem since the first announcement are still valid. You are still going through a massive cable clash to use these glasses that you have bought and bought globally. Nearly half of the current users are having problems with long-term use. However, you still have to pay a considerable amount of money for a computer that can still run these hardware.
Besides all these, it is thought that game makers are hoping for the development of this technology in the short term. According to a survey in 2016, after more than 4,000 game developers participated, 29% of the producers thought virtual reality technology was not a long-term project. Although the ratio of these surveys in the past year has declined to 25%, the fact that there is still no great improvement as of 2018 suggests that this technology is too early to enter our lives as far as games are concerned.
What the next period brings is unknown; there is no better alternative than VR to feel in the game you are currently playing. On the other hand, there are those who see TV, console and controller trio as the best alternative, and who never give up on the keyboard and mouse. Share your thoughts on the future of virtual reality technology with me in comments.
Thanks for that vote in one of my posts, I would like if you leave any comment on the subject.
I see that you like the technology and the virtual reality glasses and built mine in a homemade and handmade way you would like to see them?
yes of course. i'm actually a tech teacher, doing kinda stuff with my students.
ok it is here https://steemit.com/realidadvirtual/@networker5/dx3kehds
click on the video and tell me what you think of my prototype 100% handmade and without spending any money all recycled.
I would like you to leave a comment of your opinion about my glasses and I saw that you went to see my last post what happens is that I have been finishing and editing according to the march and I just finished it, if you are a teacher it is very possible that you are interested take a look at it since it deals with the golden proportions of the pi number and because we think some beautiful things and others do not look at it from the scientific and psychological side.
The post is very large but it is easy to see at a glance since it is mostly images.
as they say a picture is worth more than a thousand words;)
the problem is that many very expensive cables are still cumbersome etc, but that will eventually be solved.
wow nice post...your thoughts are obvious
I did the product release party for PlayStation VR and I was rather impressed by how far they got with VR. They had a demo of Batman, and because I watched others play on the screen for about an hour I knew where everything was, so when I got to try it, the admin watching the game was like OMG did you play this before??? I was like how could I have played it before if this is the release party??? It was pretty funny, but I really enjoyed it and really felt like Batman.
A tecnologia esta em toda parte,e a cada dia vem se Aperfeiçoando ainda mas, parabéns delo post.
