The electric bike Energica Eva prepared by deBolex: classic lines together with the technology of the future
One of the most discussed aspects when it comes to e-mobility is definitely the design of vehicles, often extreme to integrate modern components into the design, ignoring the attention of the most conservative bikers, two examples can be the extreme RMK E2 and the more classic Harley Davidson LiveWire.
Through an article on the BIKEEXIF two-wheeler industry site, we learn of a motorcycle capable of embodying the best electrical technology, currently available on the market, with a classic design very well integrated, with a result that can also deceive the eye more trained.
The project in question was started by Gareth Maxwell Roberts, director of the documentary film Oil in the Blood, which tells the world of vintage and custom bikes, leaving ample space for the future: the director's request, in fact, consisted 'have a unique bike, to be exhibited during the presentation of the film, and which incorporates modern technology and classic style.
The answer came from the English deBolex Engineering, a well-known custom motorcycle rider, who, starting from a production bike, the Italian Energica Eva, was able to create the model shown here.
The original naked therefore becomes a sport that maintains the standard performance, thanks to the 145 hp and 200 Nm electric motor, and a battery pack for a range of about 200 km. All the most cumbersome components such as the ABS module, charging socket and voltage regulator have been perfectly integrated into the new design.
In short, a good example that integrating the future and classic style, for all users who want to experiment with new forms of mobility without necessarily having to switch to ultra-modern lines, the adoption of this philosophy could facilitate the transition to electric drive, we'll see if the builders will choose to take a cue from initiatives of this kind.
This is dope. It looks like a track and cafe bike.
Is a beast. This is the future
