The latest software. Do you pay for it?
I downloaded a trial version of Final Cut Pro X to see if I could use it. After 1 month you have the option of buying it for $300 which is quite alot of money. I can always put in on the expense account with the company but I don't think they would even get the value out of it. Growing up in the whole bittorrent era I was interested to see if there was any loophole where I could use it for two months and get away with buying it. Now I may still buy it for personal use but I would like another month trial to make sure.
So I google how to cheat the system and it tells me to do something interesting.
Once the trial is finished go to the time and date settings on your computer.
Bring the clock back to the date the trial started.
Then open the application again and you are in.
Change back the date settings on the computer and you have Final Cut for another 30 days.
Which makes me think , do techies in the business ever pay for any programs or is there loopholes for everything once you know the right place to go? Could you get the new Microsoft suites using a loophole or do the dev's have to pay 80 quid for the privilege like the rest of us normallys?
Sometimes I got programs through the backdoor but there is always something missing and I think I have peace of mind when I buy the software knowing that I am not a pirate.Yarrrghh. Other times it's too much hassle to do it but I found this little loophole quiet easy and now I have another 30 days to do the business before I decide whether I am going to fork out 300 squiderooneys for what I am getting for free now.
Any thoughts people?

I have one of them android boxes, though only use it for movies for my daughter, you know moana, coco etc, I would rather boil my head, and sit poking knitting needles in my eyes than watch any TV from the UK.
Never liked Carling, it tastes like piss water, yes got tattoos, none with a dog on, and would rather vomit on the queen than sing songs in praise of it. :-)

I leave it to my kids to do and reap the benefits from their dodgy dealings. I have a fire stick for the television and quite honestly know we are paying for something but definitely not everything we are getting. There is loopholes in everything and it depends on how much you are willing to pay for what you are getting.
I did this with a raspberry pi for a time but it was unreliable so I just ended up getting sky back in . Yeah it's great to have a techie in the family.
The crazy thing is I still have the Sky equivalent and paying for it yet I have literally thousands of channels on this stick plus films that are not cams that are on the circuit.They just auto load as they become available. Pretty decent if you have nothing to do. I have them playing in the background whilst doing Steem so staying up to date.

It's amazing that it is 2019 and the roll back the clock trick from the 90s still works. I bet you have to be always offline to make it work though.
I’m not sure actually . I presumed you have to be online for it to work but maybe not.
