Which company do you trust most? Google or Apple?

I have never been a Apple user in the past. I have always been a Google user and a happy user. So, my answer is obviously going to be inclined towards Google compared to that of Apple. From my perspective, there are a few reasons why I say that Google is trust-able compared to Apple.  I would like to list them one by one.  At the same time, we cannot compromise on Apple as well. The reason why it is ruling the market is that it has a great quality and service. Durability is another factor for its success.

Cost effective

The products from Google are most likely highly cost-effective. Some of the great features that Google provides are for free. They don't really charge anything from you for using certain Google products. At the same time, Apple doesn't provide anything for free or for a cheap price. We will not be able to completely trust a product or company just because they are cost-effective. But from a layman's perspective, people are highly attracted towards cost effective or cheaper solutions instead of going for a brand or product. 

Every product Apple is launching is definitely doing great innovation in the market but they are not cost effective. People find it really hard to purchase Apple products. Being in India, people use Apple products only for the purpose of fame and nothing more than that. Reason being, most of the apple users in India don't really understand about the full features of Apple products and what it is all about. But they get a great respect among their friends and relatives for having and using Apple products. 

Quality

If we have to talk about quality, my vote is definitely for apple products. Though apple gives the applications and projects for a decent price, they don't compromise on the quality. We cannot expect the same from the Google products and services. There are definitely some Google products that are really good but if compared to Apple durability and usability can never be matched with anything else. Of course, usability is not something that is very easy for everyone. But upon learning how it works, it is not as complicated as you think it would be. 

Customer focus

This is completely my personal opinion. I feel that Google as a company is focusing more on Ads and advertisement programs. I feel that it makes some products get bad reviews. At the same time in Apple, the ads and affiliate programs are well planned. The customers are not troubled with advertisements. They really give only what is needed for people. I am said that once if people start using Apple products, they will not get the heart to go away from Apple products. I personally feel the same attachment to Google as well.  

Open source

Apple products are not open source. This is one of the biggest advantage Google sees over Apple. The products and services that Google offers are either free of cost or for a minimal value. If the users are also with development or coding background they are given enough tools and APIs to add additional features to the existing products. There are also forums available where development of these open source products take place. Introducing a new feature becomes very easy along with the testing factor. Apple phones even when introduced today are having some difficulties. The face recognition feature did not fare very during the demo last year. At the same time for Google products there are experts available everywhere who can really explain many technical details about the product and they can even made modifications to the code if required. 

So from a overall picture, I would say that I find it really comfortable using Google and its products. My vote is always for google. But when I say that I don't really mean that Apple should be completely ignored. If you are looking forward to have something with 100 % stability, you can pay the price and go for Apple. Though I'm personally not a big fan of Apple, I would say that it is not a great value addition for common people. But we may not know, it still has lots of opportunities to grab markets in various countries. For the past few years I have been seeing many Apple users in India.
