A mobile app introduced in Karnataka, to reduce the number of deaths in lightning, this app users will get signals 45 minutes before thunderstorm. As a result, you can easily go to a safer place.
The name of the app is 'Sidilu'. The app was created jointly by the Karnataka State Natural Distan Monitoring Center and the Revenue Department. The app was officially launched on Friday (April 13th).
Basically, Sidilu will be given a signal based on the real time position or location of users. Gadget Newway reports, according to the risk level, will warn three different colors. The color is three red, orange and yellow. And if the user is safe then it will show green color.
Sidlut's red color indicates that there is a possibility of a snow storm of 1 square kilometer in the user's position. That is, there are many more risks in this case. On the other hand, the orange sign means that thunderbolt users will be in the range of 5 sq. Km. And yellow sign means that there is 15 square kilometer thunder. If users are at a safe place to see these signals then the risk of loss will be reduced.And whenever the green color is displayed on the screen, the user will be in a safe place.
It is to be noted that, on an average, an average of 70 people lost their lives every year in Karnatak. To reduce the number, the importance of the app is important. The Sidilu app can be downloaded for free from Google Playstore and Apple Store.
