YouTube has tightened the rules for channel monetization due to scandals with bloggers
YouTube Video Service has tightened the rules for bloggers who participate in the YouTube Partner Program. This is stated in the statement Google, which belongs to the service.
Until January 16, 2018, the channels of bloggers who want to advertise should have collected 10,000 views. Now, YouTube partners must have at least thousands of subscribers and 4 thousand hours of views per year.
The new rules have already begun to work for users who want to become members of the YouTube Partner Program. For the current program partners, the conditions will enter into force on February 20, 2018.
The company admitted that they are introducing new rules against the backdrop of the events of 2017, the events of which "affected the community and advertising partners" of the company.
