WhatsApp- Howmuch upgraded with new features in Year 2018 till now. Must know features.

In today's time we are using smartphone and highly dependent on messaging apps. There are many apps but Whatsapp is the most popular messaging app in the world. In Feb 2018 it recorded 1.5 billion monthly active users. Despite fabulous success, the Whatsapp app is regularly updating its mobile app to give users a better experience. There are many updates in WhatsApp, in the year 2018. There is facility of providing UPI payment facility in India or giving more control to whatsapp Group Admin. Let's talk about the updates they have done in Whatsapp this year.

Whatsapp Payments:-
In India this year WhatsApp Payments facility was launched, which is one of the company's biggest launches. Using the UPI PIN, you can easily transfer money with Whatsapp Payments. This feature is available on Android, iPhone and Windows Phone.

Data Download Feature:-
Whatsapp also allowed its users to download the data this year. Using this feature, you can download data from Whatsapp till now, from creating your account.

Group Admin Controls:-
Whatsapp has increased the control of the group admin this year. From this feature, a Whatsapp group administrator can control the message sent by members of that group.

iPhone Siri integration for group Messages:-
Whatsapp has introduced this feature to send group messages through iPhone Siri on the Whatsapp app this year. Earlier it was possible to send a message to a user using it.

Group Video and Voice Calls:-
Popular Messaging App Whatsapp also launched its much-anticipated feature group video and group voice calling. This feature allows the user to connect four people at a time, make group video calls or voice calls.

Suspicious link indicator:-
Whatsapp has given the suspicious link indicator feature in beta version. This feature has been provided to overcome problems like spam.

Forward Message Control:-
To control Fake News, WhatsApp launched this feature. Now the same message can’t be forwarded more than 5 times. It will be easier to control in those messages, who are considered forcible people to forward. Even now for all forwarded you can see “forwarded” mentioned on top of it.

Whatsapp for JIO Phone:-
People still did not get access to Whatsapp app in the JIO phone. From August 15, 2018 the whatsapp will be available for Jio Phone and Jipo Phone 2 both.

Mute Through Notifications:-
You are sending a message on Whatsapp and you want to mute it, so you do not need to open the app now. When you press the notification on your screen for a while, there will be a mute option show, so that the user can mute.

Media Visibility:-
With this feature, you can download the media content sent by a user or in the group and keep it in chat. Downloaded media content will not appear in your phone's gallery. You can select this option as per your convenience.
