Greenpeace and iFixit revealed that Apple, Microsoft and Samsung have the most difficult devices to repair and it is very difficult to replace components.

As a result, many users immediately remove the defective devices causing environmental problems.

Gary Cook (IT analyst Greenpeace USA) said technology companies must improve the quality of the device so that users will not immediately throw the device into the trash.

"A number of products from Apple, Samsung and Microsoft are designed in a hard way so that users are hard to fix. As a result, their devices will increase the stock of elettronic waste, "he said as quoted by channelweb.

The report is based on testing of 40 smartphones, tablets and laptops from 17 vendors launched between 2015 and 2017. Scores are awarded based on the ease of an unutuk product.

Both Apple's iPhone Appple scored 7/10 each, but two iPads only scored 2/10, and two MacBooks scored 1/10. Microsoft Surface and Surface Pro 5 tablets scored only 5/10.

Testing also shows that three smartphones and one Samsung tablet get a score of 4/10.

Apple reasoned that all of its products are designed to be durable and environmentally friendly to recycle old products. "The designs of our products are not only beautiful, thin and powerful, but also durable so it can last for years," Apple said.
