The Snapdragon 845 processor is only manufactured on a 10nm process.
Snapdragon 845 is the leading processor chip of the Android smartphone market next year.
According to sources, although the chip production lines on advanced 7nm process technology are ready, Qualcomm's next-generation Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 845, will only be made on the 10nm process. However, the processor will be used on LPE (Low Power Early) platform instead of LPP (Low Power Plus) like Samsung Exynos 9810.
The Snapdragon 845 will still be a line of eight-core (octa core) chips, including four powerful Cortex A75 cores and four weaker Cortex A53 cores. In addition, the graphics processor that comes with Snapdragon 845 will be the Adreno 630.
In particular, this new chip can support up to 25MP sensor in dual camera and dual camera camera. In addition, it also offers 802.11 Wifi connectivity and has a maximum download speed of up to 1.2Gbps.
The Snapdragon 845 will be available soonest on Samsung's Galaxy S9 / Galaxy S9 + early next year and Xiaomi Mi 7 from China.
