WhatsApp, here are the group video calls
Now they are reality: WhatsApp allows, a bit 'to Skype, group video calls. For now, though, limiting them to a maximum of four participants. And at this number, probably, it will remain: it is the maximum manageable with a minimum of sense on mobile devices. Launching them is simple: just start a video call with a contact and then add two more participants through the dedicated button at the top right of the app screen.
Maximum security: the group videocalls are also end-to-end encrypted to protect the data exchanged and the audio-video stream itself. For weeks, if not months, of this new possibility, and from one day to the next the platform controlled by Facebook has released it for both Android and iOS. According to the top of the chat, the functionality should work without major problems or problems even when the quality of the connection is not amazing.
An addition that brings WhatsApp to the same level of applications and software that have long focused on group video calls such as Skype (which allows you to connect up to 25 people at the same time and even to recordthe sessions) or even the same Messenger, always from Facebook, which introduced them two years ago. But the pervasiveness of use and the base of the user of WhatsApp, chat 1.5 billion active users per month, makes the news much more important.
For months the application introduces new features on a weekly basis: soon there will be many other features on the chat including previewing all media files, such as photos and gifs, directly from notifications.
