Microsoft bought GitHub
Well, the news is out and everybody seems to be talking about it: Microsoft bought GitHub!
It’s well known the dislike Microsoft has against the open source community, so this acquisition has been generating some waves among programmers.
What do you think will happen from now on? Will devs move on to other alternatives to GitHub or is Microsoft changing its vision and embracing a more open-source based world of programming?

I'm thinking of switching to another host… Or maybe not. Anyway, every time MS bought something I used or liked, it went bad. Skype became unusable on my GNU/Linux pc where it used to work smooth. Nokia, well, MS has lost the mobile market, it seems, but maybe Nokia was gone long before…
It's going to be interesting to see what happens next... Not only to the devs community but also to Microsoft itself. They're creating such an impressive ecosystem with Skype, Nokia, Linkedin and now GitHub!
