Did you used to have a Pager or Beeper? Or maybe one of these..

 Did you ever used to be one of the people that owned a Pager?
 

Or sometimes they were called a Beeper.
 

Or are you simply asking yourself, what the hell is a Pager? Or what's a Beeper?
 

Pagers paved the way for the smartphone that you own today!
 

So if you ever had a Pager like this and ran your life on it.

Yeah you can laugh now! But if it wasn't for the Pager you wouldn't have this..

 

Oh and if it wasn't for the smartphone, there wouldn't be this..

Alright, I know these last two are only concepts!

But they all wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the Pager!

Also if you ever done any work on something like this..

 I know where's the screen right!? That's a Smith Corona XE 5200 Word Processor and back then we was hardcore and never used screens!

Yeah go on laugh at its primitiveness. But if it f it wasn't for the word processor we wouldn't have any of these...

Yes, they added a screen to it. That was clever right?
