wow, that is really cool and I've never even heard about the outernet. I imagine this is similar to the ham radio interest that erupted a long while ago, and that the communities are intertwined. It would be really cool to see this evolve as it seems to have interesting potential.
Very similar, but no license is needed. Hams really enjoy this development. Sdr dondles rocks. With the outernet its so much cheaper. And you can serve local media that you put on the rpi. Songs, movies, or whatever you want. Just ftp to the server and add stuff to it. Kind of like pirate wifi services... Joy... Plus the awesomeness of outernet.
