Hmm there are lots and lots of ways, i don't know you so i am not sure what to recommend here - i personally would open the png in an application like Gimp, resize it to max 1000px and export it as jpg. Even not resized, a jpg is fine for most images and weights way less.

png to jpg converterjust gave me a ton of websolutions as well. ;)
