TEARDROPS FOR THE FAMILY OF A DECEASED NYSC MEMBER

A female member of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) whose identity remained unknown,was crushed by a train in Ikeja LGA, Lagos State, on Thursday 8th of March,2018.

Eye witnesses say she had earpiece fixed to her ears. Probably she was listening to a loud music,which hindered her from hearing screams of passersby trying to alert her and also the horn of the oncoming train.

Passersby close to her made effort to pull her out of the rail track but their effort was rendered useless because the victim was busy pressing her phone.

The body was left there for a while and then taken to a mortuary by the authorities.
