Sarajevo is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its largest urban, cultural, economic and traffic center.

Sarajevo is a relatively small city compared to the world's major metropolises. However, thanks to its rich spiritual, historical and natural appearance, the name Sarajevo is far better known than some of the larger cities in the world.

In this city, in 1984, the 14th Winter Olympic Games were held, which were fondly remembered by the participants and visitors.

Walking through countless streets and alleys, I get to know the beauty and charm of the city, as well as the people of traditional hospitality. The smell of Sarajevo kebabs, unique in the world, spreads through Baščaršija.

Many streets and alleys with shops pass through Baščaršija, a famous craft district. Many manufactories have adapted to tourism and tourists, so that part of the city is an inevitable destination for tourists.

Sarajevo became the capital due to its immense charm, but also its convenient location. The river Miljacka flows through it, which is covered by numerous bridges, along which there are numerous promenades adapted to all ages, lovers of rest and recreation. Bentbaša is known as a place of rest which has a large promenade, and in summer a swimming pool.

About ten kilometers downstream, below Igman, there is a famous picnic area - Vrelo Bosne. Few people came to Sarajevo without visiting Vrelo Bosne with its springs, spacious lawns, landscaped restaurants and hotels. Vrelo Bosne is one of the largest sources of drinking water in Europe and is a natural gem. Vrelo Bosne is part of Ilidža, which is a famous summer resort, as well as a health resort for body and soul.
