Dominion over animals
When I see a beautiful animal framed on a wall for people to admire, I'm ashamed to be human.
We the human race, consider their lives, their feelings, their pain, their pleading and their need for our protection as the sentient beings of this planet, as it were nothing.
We tease them, hunt them, kill them, eat them, torture them starve them
We destroy their habitat, curtail their breeding and eliminate their food sources.
We make them dependent on our mercy, which on the whole, and then give none to speak of.
For all our brilliance, our disciplines, our "wisdom", we are less than the Bushmen, who treat animals with respect and whom we also have eliminated.
Those who respect the life of those who share this planet with us, to an extent which would rectify the situation are in reality, the only humans deserving of sentience or even existence on this planet.
