Our House Renovation Update #8 Master Wardrobe, Fridge, Washer, and Plaster Ceiling All Done!!
Hello guys! It has been a week since my last update! It was a really busy weekend where Tifa and I visit fair to look for home appliances and on top of that, we still volunteer our usual STEP 2018 volunteering with the youth and the program going to end next week! woohoo mean more time for our home!
So on last Sunday, we went to Midvalley home expo and before going there thanks to @tifaong who helps me confirm that Panasonic will be there in the home expo as we were looking for Panasonic washing machine and fridge since Bukit Jalil home expo here. Thankfully when we were there the first thing we saw was Panasonic booth, it was just right in front of the entrance. We were so glad and we quickly rush into it. We saw a lot of people at Panasonic booth (I guess lots of people still prefer this brand, huh) and almost all the salespeople were busy serving customers. We carefully browse through both models that we want in the booth and luckily we found both of them and the price was really great to deal! We look around and no one was free yet, so both of us standing near the fridge with the hope that one of the salespeople able to notice us.
After few minutes still no one free to approach us, Tifa went ahead and grab one of the salespeople from far and told her that we were interested in that model and we need help on that. The reason why we need a sales person because they put a note on the bottom of the price and mentioned: "Ask for special price". Hence, we need a sales person so that we could get an even cheaper deal for both of the items. So, we asked the sales girl what was the special price? She said the special price was GST discount (6%) which even cheaper now! We told her that two models that we want and she gave us the total price. The difference price between fair and normal retail was around MYR 600 (USD 150) which for us it was really a great deal. We save MYR 600 and we could spend on something else. Besides this, there also came with tons of free gift like the one in the photo below!
It only took us about 30 minutes to kill two items in our home checklist! Such a huge relief, we no need to hunt Panasonic anymore and we can now focus on next checklist items. We then quickly tour one round of the rest of the booth and we found out 80% of the booth were same with Bukit Jalil home expo. Nothing special from the fair and we just leave and went to Midvalley and continue shop for other items.
In the evening, we dropped by our lovely house and have a quick check on the renovation progress. We do it weekly as that was the only time both of us were free and we have one set of key for our contractors to come in and work on the renovations.
There were few updates this round. First, our living room plaster ceiling already nicely done, just left one more layer painting and they can proceed with LED downlight installation. Second, our master room wardrobe finally done after two weeks! The finishing was really nice especially when the wardrobe was full height to the ceiling plus tinted black glass door. It just looks awesome and gorgeous! Both of us love it so much!
There are few more things working in the progress such as the grille, curtains, workstation table, bar counter chair, and so on. We hope coming week have some new stuff is completed in our house! We will visit you next week, home sweet home!
Wow!! The wardrobe compartments with the black glass door are nice! I like the many compartments wardrobe, especially the wood colours compliment it well.

Yupe, we engaged a contractor in a home expo here. Same here both of us love the black tinted glass door :D
We two people might not fully ultilise all compartments but we just prepare for future, lol
There will never be too many compartments... 😂
