Chicken Bibimbap!

Finally, we manage to dine in this crazy-lot-of-people-queuing-Korean restaurant on Monday. We wanted to try this new restaurant last week but we couldn't make it due to too many people queuing! Seriously queue until outside of the restaurant. So we decided to try out another cafe nearby here.

The restaurant maximum able to serve about 25-35 tables including outdoor. We pass by this restaurant a few times last week and every single day it was packed with people and we wonder what is so special about this Korean restaurant and why is it so many people willing to queue for it. The reason on Monday we manage to get ourselves a seat is because the next day is the public holiday so lots of people are actually taking annual leave to enjoy 4 days off (weekend, Monday, and Tuesday, who don't want right?). Hence, on Monday not much people at there but the restaurant still fully capacity around 1230 pm.

It is best for a small group of colleagues dine in together and best will be 4 or 5. Why? Because bigger table you need to wait for a longer time compared to a smaller crowd (1 table max can cater 5 people). So, if you have a group of 8 or 10 people to dine in, then chances that you will get 2 tables side by side is quite less.

They have a lot of variety of food to choose from noodles to rice and to sides. Price range from MYR 16 to MYR 30 roughly. I think is pretty average the price range as it is in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. It is a halal restaurant so anyone can dine in here without worries unless you are vegetarian. But do take note they do serve alcohol beverage ya.

My colleagues ordered soft tofu stew, seafood ramyun, chicken BBQ, and I ordered their bibimbap. Most of their food provides few varieties such as soft tofu stew you can choose between chicken, beef, or seafood which even create a vast diversify for customers. I really love how they allow flexibility and customize this food. Since I don't take beef I ordered chicken bibimbap

Damn nice!

We waited for the food about 20-30 minutes, and all of us were very hungry and didn't manage to take pictures of their food except mine, but you can google online. They serve big portion though, so now I understand why so many people willing to queue now. Big portion and the price is average in the area. Very smart strategy!

Take note that they only accept cash as payment for now. I really hope more and more cafe and restaurant adopt digital wallets like Boost or Fave it really brings so much convenience to customers. Maybe some charges from a merchant that why they don't adopt? I don't know.

Anyway, Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine and Cafe is really a good place must try I personally think it is good. Will drop by someday just for their dinner to avoid the crowd.
