Entopia @ Penang Island

Hello Steemit~！

This time i would like to share my family & cousins go to Entopia @ Penang (also known as Penang Butterfly Farm). We visited the place during Hari Raya Holiday, which not a good choice due to crowded with a lot of human but luckily we go early morning as by the time we reach, there's not much of people queuing at the Ticket Counter. The ticket we bought (12 Adults, 2 Children's and 2 Senior Citizen) with the total damage of RM650+. When we preparing to put the tag onto our hand, suddenly there were few tourist bus entering the car parks. So i quickly inform my family members faster enter the park. The park is quite huge and if not mistaken, we have been inside the park for about 3 hours+ as need to take the luxury time for the photos and its enjoyable for all ages. However, feel bad for my parents as the weather was quite hot and there's less chair/bench for people to sit and rest while at Outdoor and for the Indoor is air condition, so is cooling but still less chairs/bench as well. Hope they can improve on it.

The Entopia is located at Jalan Teluk Bahang, Teluk Bahang, Penang and its open 7 days a week. The entrance fee is base on two category which is Standard Admission and MyKad Admission. For the Std. Admission Rate for Adult which over 13 yrs is RM65 (MyKad is RM49), Children which from 4-12 yrs and Senior Citizen which is over 60 yrs the Rate is RM45 (MyKad is RM29). They also provide a Family Package that include 2 Adults & 2 Childrens, the Std Rate is RM175 (MyKad is RM127). For the Children below 3yrs old the ticket is free. The Ticket can buy over the counter or online and look out for any promotion at their website www.entopia.com. The park majority is about butterflies, but there's others type as well like insect, fish, crocodile, snakes and etc.

The Park was divided into Natureland (Outdoor) and Cocoon (Indoor with 2 levels). For the Nartureland there's Mystery Cave, Tiger Falls, Home Tree, Dragon Path, Aroma Trail & David's Garden and for the Cocoon at the Level 1 there's Pandora Forest, Metamorphosis, Cinerama, Breeding Ground, Lumino City and for Ground Floor is Downtown Entopia, Underground Mysteries and Understory Tales. The Park also have F&B Restaurant name as Tapestree, it serve Western & Asian Cuisine and is located beside the Cocoon Entrance. They also have their own Entopia Merchandise Store which is located after the Exit from Cocoon Ground Floor.

This Forest Ants is nasty, the size is about the same as the my pinky finger. This photo is taken with additional light (extra light from my sister smartphone) as they keep the Forest Ants in a dark area. Photo snap at Underground Mysteries.

This insect is new to me. First time saw the back of this insect which show similar to human face. This insect known as Pentatomoidea Bug, the human face on his back actually its the insect shield which to confuse other predators to mistake it that's not a food. This last photo is the most people feel gross at it. Run! Run! Hit it! Hit it! Die Cockroach! Ha!Ha!
