Random Musings 007: Radiate Penang 2018 pt2

Continuing from Part 1, The doors opened at 6pm. The people were ready!

Day 2 night session was crazy! Do check out the live sessions on the Radiate movement page if you can. Everyone brought their dance moves

After the sports we had a very special person speak to us for the night and it was non other than the man; Architect by day and youth leader by night @honjun88.

This guy had been a source of inspiration for many people in Kota Kinabalu and now, he brought some of his wisdom to Radiate Penang!!

He shared on how sometimes taking risks could lead you into a life that you can never imagine. It requires consistency, it requires connections to take you to that place where a risk out of the boat could lead you into walking on water.

This sharing was referenced to the Biblical story on how in a stormy weather, one of the twelve disciples Peter, when heard the voice of his Lord, decided to take the risk, take a leap of faith. Took a step out of the boat and into the stormy seas to being a part of a miracle.

Sometimes you just need to step out of the boat!

Many people left PCC that night feeling, empowered and inspired!

##Day 3

I missed out on the last day because I had a work meeting so I couldn't take time off. But I heard feedbacks on how great Alex Lee's sharing was on Reckless Love. I wish I was there tho!

Because I was one of the helpers in Sports, I managed to check on the results after work. A lot of teams did very well!

There were too many sports to count, but after compiling the scores, Blue came up on top but the rest were not so far behind. All other teams had a chance to change the tide with a few more games during the sessions and "Happy Hour".

No one knew how close everyone was by then and the sports scores were not tallied until the prize giving ceremony so everyone was on the edge of their seats ready to gain a game changing point for their team.

@calvinlee shared on Ruth. On how Ruth made a decision that seemed small at the time but turns out to be the best decision that she had ever made. Do you have moments like these? The best decision to make like this was to follow Jesus!

We ended the night with a bang and had Alex and Cherry serenade to us.
The night was magical, and it wasn't over yet!

In the end the winner of Radiate Penang 2018 was.....

BLUE TEAM!!!!! Which just won Yellow team by 10 points!
Some were surprised
Some knew they were going to win
But all in all, there were laughs, and cries.
The event was bundles of emotions!!

Few days in and I still had Post event hangovers.

If you get the chance, do sign yourself up for Radiate Penang because It's the best decision that you can have!!
