MY NLP Learning Result 21Jan2018

I heard of NLP in year 2007, when I just graduated from university and that's when 'experienced' elders like to 'recruit' me as their Insurance Agent or 'Unit trust agent' or 'MLM sales'. Oh, by the way, MLM (multi level marketing) in Malaysia is extreme popular tactic to attract youngsters who love to earn fast money by invest a few thousands on their product, claiming investing a few thousands is a small model business. And basically, I'm one of those youngsters.
Alright, that's "HER"story and life moves on.
In 2014, I have the chance to learn more about NLP (neuro-linguistic programme) knowledge on how to 'mind read' and influence other easily. Yeah, because I'm a sales person and my sales result is getting less and less. My boss started to look at me closely and find chance to fire me. I can't bear to lose this job so I invested to learn more about it.
So actually, I won't want to further explain in details what is NLP as google will do a better job for me.

This post is actually to record each and every findings of results of using NLP in my daily life.
Just about 10 minutes ago, I chatted with my mum and she told me about a "FengShui" (chinese fortune telling) preview seminar that her friend brought her to attend this afternoon.
She mentioned about a few points that she remember and I found that's part of NLP use, especially in sales speech. Let me list a few:
(add note: NLP can be used in many other aspect of life and it depends on the user to use ethically or not)
- the speaker mentioned: "Kuching will be the best fengshui place in this year, many fortune will come to kuching because the fengshui coordinate is nicely place here" (aiyoyoyoyo.....this sentence looks so chinligsh [chinese-english]. sorry for my bad english)
my interpretation: wow, this speaker will say exactly same sentence in other place of preview too....i.e., change Kuching to Miri, to KL, to JB etcs....and this sentence will make local feel good (the important factor to do purchase) about themselves. So next time you hear sales person trying to make you feel good by saying you or your place or your belongs are good, hehehe, accept the kindness but control your emotion.
my finding: make other feel good in any occasion is important, but 1st, make observation if that person accept my kindness.
- the speaker mentioned: "now, opportunity is in front of you, if you don't grab the opportunity that is in front of you, you will lose it forever." my mum mentioned this twice, because from her perspective, I always ask her to reject all these suspicious opportunities, opportunities that may lose her money.
My findings: this a type of NLP, particularly Metaphors. Metaphors are used commonly in NLP in order to enable the NLP user to make connection with the clients unconscious mind. The benefit of doing this is that it connects them with the source of all the clients learning and behaviour, thus enabling them to change rapidly. This moment of change: BUY MY FENGSHUI COURSE
Well, I think the biggest findings from the conversation between my mum and me today is: listen is important.
Many motivational articles teaching us to listen, not to hear.
But how to listen with skills, I learn from NLP and practise them in life for about 4 years.
Lastly, I'm grateful that I can share my NLP learnings thru Steemit and earn some pocket money out from it.
